The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between factors and variables that influence perception, knowledge, attitude, and behavioral intention based on the fine dust risk perception of sports participants. To achieve the purpose of the study, the study was conducted for the participants of sports activities in G region. The sampling period of the study was a questionnaire response from the self-assessment method using the convenience sampling method from Oct 1 to Dec 30, 2019, and 276 questionnaires were used for the actual analysis. In addition, we used SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs for data processing, and the following results were obtained through frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling. First, the perception of fine dust risk of sports participants influenced the perception. Second, the perception of fine dust of sports participants influenced their knowledge and attitude. Third, the fine dust knowledge and attitude of the participants in sports activities influenced the participation intention. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that the perceptions, knowledge, attitudes and behavioral intentions of the participants are influenced by factors that perceive the risk of fine dust based on the participants ’behavior and planning behavior based on the perception of the participants’ fine dust risk.
